What is the DYU A5 remote lock actually for?

The A5 includes a remote locking function for extra convenience when powering or securing the bike electronically. It should be treated as an added deterrent, not a replacement for a good physical bike lock.

Is the A5 comfortable despite having small 14-inch wheels?

More than you might expect. DYU pairs the small wheels with a suspension front fork and seat shock absorption, which helps take the sharp edge off rough urban surfaces. The trade-off is that 14-inch wheels still react more noticeably to potholes and broken ground than 20- or 26-inch wheels, so the A5 is best viewed as a compact city bike rather than a rough-terrain bike.

Can I remove the A5 battery and charge it indoors?

Yes. DYU lists the A5 with a detachable 48V 7.5Ah battery, so you can take the battery inside to charge instead of needing a socket next to the whole bike.

Who should choose the A5 instead of the A1F or A16?

Choose the A5 if you want the smallest 14-inch full-folding format but still value suspension and a removable battery. It is a comfort-focused compact bike rather than the lightest option. The A1F makes more sense if you prefer 16-inch wheels and a simpler build, while the A16 is the stronger all-round choice when you want 16-inch wheels plus more ride cushioning.

Is the DYU A5 Electric Bike easy to assemble?

The DYU A5 Electric Bike arrives mostly assembled. Final setup normally includes aligning and securing the handlebars, fitting the pedals and completing essential safety checks. Allow approximately 20–30 minutes, or select our professional assembly and PDI service.

Is the DYU A5 Electric Bike water resistant?

The DYU A5 Electric Bike is not fully waterproof. Avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain, and never submerge or pressure wash the bike or its electrical components. After riding in wet conditions, wipe the bike dry and store it in a dry, sheltered location.
