The KAYO eKB-M16 Electric Balance Bike is a lightweight youth-focused KAYO electric off-road bike designed for riders who are ready for more performance, range and capability. With three selectable riding modes, full suspension and hydraulic disc brakes, it is well suited to developing confidence and control on private land.
700W Peak Motor Performance
Powered by a 700W peak gear hub motor, the eKB-M16 delivers strong, responsive acceleration with up to 40Nm+ of torque, giving younger riders capable performance while remaining manageable.
48V Battery & Extended Range
The 48V 10Ah lithium-ion battery provides approximately 480Wh of capacity and a claimed range of up to around 40km (24.9 miles) under suitable riding conditions. Real-world range will vary depending on speed mode, terrain, rider weight and riding style.
3 Adjustable Riding Modes
Three selectable speed modes allow the rider to build confidence progressively, with settings of approximately 10km/h, 24km/h and 32km/h — around 6.2mph, 14.9mph and 19.9mph.
Full Suspension Setup
The eKB-M16 features a 35mm preload-adjustable front fork and a preload-adjustable rear shock, helping improve comfort and control when riding over bumps and uneven off-road terrain.
Hydraulic Disc Brakes
Hydraulic disc brakes are fitted front and rear, with a 160mm front disc and 140mm rear disc, providing controlled and dependable stopping performance.
16-Inch Off-Road Tyres
Equipped with 16 x 2.4-inch MX tyres front and rear, the eKB-M16 offers a larger wheel setup than the M14 for improved stability and capability across suitable off-road surfaces.
Lightweight Youth-Friendly Design
With a 540mm seat height, 155mm ground clearance and weight of around 20kg, the eKB-M16 remains compact and manageable while offering increased performance for growing or more experienced young riders.
