How long does the Lay-Z-Spa Florence take to set up and fill?

The Florence takes around 10 minutes to inflate and set up using the supplied pump, with no tools required. Filling usually takes a further 1–2 hours, depending on your household water pressure.

How long will the Florence take to heat from cold?

Initial heating depends on the temperature of the incoming water and the surrounding air. On a typical UK summer day, allow approximately 6–12 hours to reach 40°C. Using the insulating lid and cover while heating will help retain warmth.

How much garden space does the Florence need with its pump?

The Florence spa body is approximately 180 cm wide and 225 cm wide with the external pump attached. Leave extra clearance for the pump and connections, and use a firm, flat and level base.

Can the Florence be plugged into an extension lead?

Lay-Z-Spa advises against using an extension lead. The Florence should be connected to a standard UK 13-amp, 240V RCD-protected mains socket. Its supplied power cable is approximately 7 metres long, so check the socket position before setting the spa up.

Do I need chemicals to use for the Lay-Z-Spa Florence Luxe Hot Tub?

Yes. Hot tub chemicals are required to keep the water clean, safe and properly balanced. You will normally need chlorine or bromine, pH treatments and testing strips. Chemicals are not included unless specifically stated on the product page, but compatible starter kits are available separately.

Can I leave the Lay-Z-Spa Florence Luxe Hot Tub set up all year round?

This depends on the model, weather conditions and how the hot tub is maintained. Always follow the manufacturer’s temperature and winter-use guidance. The hot tub should be drained and stored safely if freezing conditions could damage the liner, pump or pipework.
