The Ibiza takes around 10 minutes to inflate and set up using the supplied pump, with no tools or professional installation required. Filling usually takes a further 1–2 hours, depending on your household water pressure.

How long will the Ibiza take to heat from cold?

Initial heating depends on the temperature of the fresh water and the outside air. On a typical UK summer day, Lay-Z-Spa advises allowing around 6–12 hours to reach 40°C. Keep the insulating lid and top cover fitted while heating for better heat retention.

How much space should I allow for the Ibiza and its pump?

The Ibiza spa body is approximately 180 cm wide and reaches about 225 cm at its widest point with the external pump attached. Leave additional clearance for the connections, controls and safe access, and use a firm, flat and level base.

Does EnergySense mean the Ibiza has a fixed low running cost?

No fixed electricity cost can be guaranteed. The integrated EnergySense insulation is designed to reduce heat loss compared with a conventional inflatable liner, but actual costs still depend on the weather, chosen temperature, positioning, frequency of use and how effectively the lid, cover and timer are used.

Do I need chemicals to use for the Lay-Z-Spa Ibiza Hot Tub?

Yes. Hot tub chemicals are required to keep the water clean, safe and properly balanced. You will normally need chlorine or bromine, pH treatments and testing strips. Chemicals are not included unless specifically stated on the product page, but compatible starter kits are available separately.

Can I leave the Lay-Z-Spa Ibiza Hot Tub set up all year round?

This depends on the model, weather conditions and how the hot tub is maintained. Always follow the manufacturer’s temperature and winter-use guidance. The hot tub should be drained and stored safely if freezing conditions could damage the liner, pump or pipework.
