Initial heating depends on the temperature of the incoming water and the outside air. On a typical UK summer day, Lay-Z-Spa advises allowing around 6–12 hours to reach 40°C. Keep the insulating lid and top cover fitted while heating to reduce heat loss.

How much space should I allow for the Mauritius and its pump?

The Mauritius is approximately 270 cm long and 180 cm wide, reaching about 311 cm at its widest point with the external pump connected. Leave additional clearance around the pump, connections and controls, and use a firm, flat and level base.

What Wi-Fi connection does the Lay-Z-Spa Mauritius require?

The Lay-Z-Spa app supports a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection. Lay-Z-Spa advises that 5 GHz mesh networks are not officially supported, and some 4G home-internet services, including Three and Smarty, may be incompatible. Position the pump where it receives a strong, stable home Wi-Fi signal.

Do I need chemicals to use for the Lay-Z-Spa Mauritius Hot Tub?
