The San Francisco HydroJet Pro takes around 10 minutes to inflate and set up using its supplied pump, with no tools or professional installation required. Filling normally takes another 1–2 hours, depending on your water pressure.

How long will the San Francisco take to heat from cold?

Initial heat-up time depends on the temperature of the fresh water and the outside conditions. On a typical UK summer day, Lay-Z-Spa advises allowing around 6–12 hours to reach 40°C. Keep the insulating lid and cover fitted while heating to limit heat loss.

How much garden space does the San Francisco need with its pump?

The San Francisco is approximately 230 cm square and reaches about 293 cm on the side where the external pump is attached. Allow additional room for the pump, cable, connections and access, and use a firm, level base capable of supporting the filled spa.

Can I use the San Francisco without connecting the Wi-Fi app?

Yes. Wi-Fi control is optional, and the main heating, filtration, timer and massage settings can be operated from the pump’s flip-up digital control panel. The app is an additional convenience for remote control rather than a requirement for normal use.

Do I need chemicals to use for the Lay-Z-Spa San Francisco Hot Tub?
