Quick Summary
The Varun Plorer 16″ Fat-Tire E-Bike is a compact but capable e-bike designed for versatility. With its 48 V 13 Ah battery and 250 W motor it offers respectable range and performance for its size. The 16″ wheels with fat 4.0″ tyres improve stability and control across mixed surfaces. The compact wheel size also makes it more manageable for smaller riders or tighter storage spaces.
Smooth Power Delivery
The 250W motor provides enough assist to ease hills and maintain pace, paired with a 7-speed gear system for manual control when needed. The controller tuning in the Varun range tends to favour smooth onset rather than abrupt surges.
Comfort & Control
The full-suspension setup (front fork + rear shock) and fat tyres help absorb bumps and improve ride comfort across uneven surfaces. The disc brakes front and rear ensure reliable stopping power given the bike’s potential speed and weight. The compact 16″ wheel size gives a responsive feel and better manoeuvrability in tighter spaces.
Smart Battery System
With a 48 V battery and 13 Ah capacity, the Plorer aims to deliver up to ~60-100 km range (per manufacturer estimate) depending on assist level, terrain and rider weight. The removable battery and LCD display help manage ride data and battery status effectively.
Built for Everyday Use
This bike works well for riders seeking a compact e-bike that can handle more than just smooth pavement. Whether you’re commuting, running errands or exploring towpaths and mixed surfaces, the Plorer offers a well-rounded package. The 16″ wheel size makes the bike more compact for storage, transport or smaller riders, while the fat tyres and suspension broaden the terrain you can tackle.
